How to share a run on your Instagram Story
Turn any run into a clean Story card with your route, distance, pace, time and PRs, and post it to Instagram or anywhere else from your iPhone.
A screenshot of a run app is cluttered and often shows more than you meant to: heart rate, the exact streets around your home. RunPack 1.1 makes a Story card instead.
Make the card
- Save a run. The Run saved screen shows the card straight away.
- Tap Share and pick Instagram, Messages, WhatsApp or anything else in the share sheet.
- For an older run, open it from Your runs and tap Share.
What’s on it
The card is 1080×1920, the size of a Story. It shows the day, the kind of run, distance, pace, time and any PRs the run set, with your route drawn as a simple line. There’s no map underneath, so the streets you started from aren’t on it, and there’s never any heart rate or health data.
Keep the rest private
Posting a Story is public to your followers. Your full run — the route on a map, your splits — stays in your crew’s private feed, where only your crews see it. See how to share runs privately for the difference.
