Devices

Wear what you like.

RunPack reads Apple Health. If your watch, ring or band writes there, RunPack can use it — and it takes each signal from one device, so wearing two never double-counts your sleep or your runs.

Garmin

Recovery band

Shares with Apple Health

  • Sleep
  • Steps and active energy
  • Workouts
  • Heart rate

What you get in RunPack

A recovery band from sleep and resting heart rate where shared, plus training load. Garmin doesn’t share HRV with Apple Health, so there’s no 0–100 number.

Set up

In the Garmin Connect app, turn on the Apple Health connection in its settings and allow it to write sleep, steps, heart rate and workouts.

WHOOP

Recovery band

Shares with Apple Health

  • Sleep
  • Resting heart rate
  • Breathing rate
  • Workouts

What you get in RunPack

A recovery band from sleep, resting heart rate and breathing rate, plus training load. WHOOP measures HRV differently and doesn’t write it to Apple Health.

Set up

In the WHOOP app, open its Apple Health integration and turn on writing to Health.

Oura

Recovery band

Shares with Apple Health

  • Sleep
  • Resting heart rate
  • Workouts

What you get in RunPack

A recovery band from sleep and resting heart rate. If your Oura app version shares HRV with Health, RunPack uses it.

Set up

In the Oura app, turn on its Apple Health connection.

iPhone only

Your iPhone counts steps and records workouts, so training load works. Recovery needs overnight heart rate and sleep from a wearable — RunPack says so instead of guessing.

What each manufacturer’s app writes to Apple Health can change with their updates. Garmin, WHOOP and Oura are trademarks of their owners; RunPack isn’t affiliated with them.
