Running crew app

The running crew app for you and your friends.

A run crew is the handful of people you actually run with. RunPack gives your crew one private place for everyone’s runs, a card each morning on who’s fresh, and a goal to chase together.

How your crew uses RunPack

Start a crew, send the link

Name it and drop the invite link in your group chat. It opens straight in RunPack; friends can also type the 8-character code.

Everyone’s runs, one feed

Record with your iPhone’s GPS, or keep your Apple Watch or Garmin. Every run shows up for the crew with distance, pace and time.

Mornings and goals

A morning card says who’s fresh and who should take it easy. With Plus, the crew chases a weekly goal together.

Record

No watch required.

Half your crew wears a Garmin, someone has an Apple Watch, someone runs with just a phone. That’s fine: RunPack records runs with the iPhone’s GPS — live map, pace and time, on the Lock Screen — and reads runs from any device that writes to Apple Health.

Together

See who’s fresh before the group run.

  • A morning card: who synced, who’s freshest, who should go easy
  • A weekly crew goal — workouts together, everyone checking in, or everyone sleeping 7 hours (Plus)
  • Streaks and a weekly recap of what the crew did
  • Route maps and up to 4 photos on runs (Plus)

Private by design

Your crew, and nobody else.

Your routes usually start at your front door. In RunPack they go to your crew, never to the public. Friends see your runs and coarse bands like “recovery low” — never your heart rate, scores or health data. Report or hide anything, block anyone, leave any time.

Questions crews ask

Do we all need the same watch?

No. RunPack records runs with the iPhone’s GPS, and also picks up runs from Apple Watch, Garmin and anything else that writes workouts to Apple Health. Everyone in the crew needs an iPhone.

Can people outside the crew see our runs?

No. There are no public profiles, followers or leaderboards. Runs go to your crew and nobody else, and only if you choose to share them.

How many people can be in a crew?

Up to 4 for free. If one person in the crew has RunPack Plus ($4.99 a month or $39.99 a year), every crew they own can grow to 30.

Can we comment on each other’s runs?

You can react with 🔥 👏 or 💪. There are no comments, so the feed stays a feed — keep the chat for your group chat.

Can I be in more than one crew?

Yes, up to five — say, your weekday crew and your Sunday long-run crew.

Organising something bigger? See RunPack for running clubs, or read what a run crew is and how to start one.
