Group runs

Plan group runs. See who’s in.

Post a time and a place, and your crew taps I’m in or Can’t make it. Everyone sees who’s coming and gets a reminder an hour before. No more scrolling a group chat to count heads.

How a group run works

1. Post it

Day, time and meeting point, plus a distance or a short note like “easy pace, coffee after”.

2. Everyone answers

One tap: I’m in, or Can’t make it. The card shows the names of everyone coming.

3. Reminder, then run

About an hour before, everyone who’s in gets a reminder. Afterwards, the runs land in the crew’s feed.

After the run

Everyone’s runs in one private feed.

Runs recorded with the iPhone’s GPS, an Apple Watch or a Garmin all show up in the crew’s feed with distance, pace, time and PR badges. Only your crew sees them. Read more about how a running crew works.

Questions about group runs

Is planning group runs free?

Yes. Group runs are free for every crew. Free crews hold up to 8 people; with RunPack Plus, one person covers a crew of up to 30.

Who can see a group run?

Only the people in your crew. Group runs are never public, anyone can report one, and blocking someone hides their group runs from you and yours from them.

Does everyone get a reminder?

Everyone who tapped I’m in gets a notification about an hour before the start, with the time and place. Each notification has its own switch in Settings.

What if the run is cancelled?

Whoever posted it, or the crew’s owner, can cancel it. Everyone who was coming gets a notification, so nobody waits at the meeting point alone.

How do new people join the crew?

Send the invite link, pick friends from Contacts (RunPack opens Messages with the link), or show the crew’s QR code at the start of the run.
