How to invite friends to your running crew, with a QR code

Three ways to get friends into your RunPack crew: send the link, pick them from Contacts, or let them scan a QR code at the start of a group run.

A crew is only as good as the people in it. RunPack 1.1 gives you three ways to bring them in. Free crews hold up to 8 people; with RunPack Plus, one person covers a crew of up to 30.

1. Send the link

Open the crew, tap Invite friends, and send the link anywhere: a group chat, an email, a club newsletter. It opens RunPack if they have it, or the crew’s join page if they don’t.

2. Invite from Contacts

Tap Invite from Contacts, pick the people, and RunPack opens Messages with the invite already written. It uses the iPhone’s own contact picker, so RunPack never reads your address book — it only gets the numbers you pick, and only to fill in that message.

3. Show the QR code

At the start of a run, tap QR. Anyone can point their iPhone camera at it and land on the crew’s join page. It’s the fastest way to turn the people you met at a group run into a crew.

Then plan the next run

Once they’re in, post a group run so everyone can tap I’m in.

Try it with your crewRecord runs with your iPhone and share them in a private feed only your crew can see. Free for crews of up to 8.Download on theApp StoreRunPack as a running crew app, a group running app, a running club app, a private social running app or a GPS run tracker.
