How to track your running PRs (fastest 1K, 5K, 10K and more)

Track personal records on iPhone without a race: your fastest 1 km, 5 km and 10 km inside any run, your longest run and your biggest week, all in RunPack.

A PR (personal record, or PB for personal best) is your best ever result at something: a distance, a time, a week. You don’t need a race to set one. Your fastest 5 km might be the middle of a 7 km run on a good day.

What RunPack tracks

They’re on the Run tab under Your runs, with the date each one was set. When a run sets a new one, the “Run saved” screen says so, and the run gets a PR badge in your history and in your crew’s feed.

It counts your watch runs too

The first time you open RunPack 1.1, it reads the last 90 days of runs from Apple Health — from an Apple Watch, a Garmin or any app that writes there — so your records start from your real running, not from zero. Those imported runs set your starting records without a wall of badges; only runs after that can earn a new PR badge.

Making PRs mean something

PRs are a good reason to run hard once in a while, not every day. Most of your running should still be easy. A fair way to chase one: pick a flat route, warm up, and run the middle part at a pace you can just hold. And remember the badges are about your own running only — RunPack has no leaderboards between friends.

Share the run when you get one: every run can become a Story card with the PR on it.

Try it with your crewRecord runs with your iPhone and share them in a private feed only your crew can see. Free for crews of up to 8.Download on theApp StoreRunPack as a running crew app, a group running app, a running club app, a private social running app or a GPS run tracker.
